Dagmar Reincke illustrated the German children's tale by Otto Sauber, with Svetik, the young Richter as a model for Hanspeter. The book was published 1927 by the now defunct Fischer & Wittig, Leipzig and is occasionally found in antiquarian bookstores. We are preparing a particular facsimile edition, including a CD with Schuman’s Kinderszenen op 15 performed by Richter’s last piano duo partner, Andreas Lucewicz and the story told in several languages.
